Iftar with Community Leaders
On Monday, April 1st, 2024, Muslim community leaders gathered at the Diyanet Center of America for the DCA Annual Iftar Program. Dr. Fatih Kanca, Chairman of the Diyanet Center of America, welcomed the guests and expressed his gratitude for their presence.
As-Salaamu-Alaikum: Posting the text of the khutbah online is excellent! I pray to Allah that more of this will be done in the future. I find that khutbahs given at the Diyanet Center are more relevant to the realities in the Muslim world than those given at some other masajid I have attended. This is the way it should be. Islam is dynamic, not static! Our Friday khutbahs should not put us to sleep but wake us up and encourage us to serve the Muslim Ummah as much as we can. I find that khutbahs given at the Diyanet Center are doing just that! Allahu Akbar!
