Iftar with Community Leaders


On Monday, April 1st, 2024, Muslim community leaders gathered at the Diyanet Center of America for the DCA Annual Iftar Program. Dr. Fatih Kanca, Chairman of the Diyanet Center of America, welcomed the guests and expressed his gratitude for their presence.

After the iftar meal, Jamil Johnson, PGMC, Malik Aziz, Chief of Police department PG County, and Nihad Awad, President of CAIR, talked about their work, importance of building bridges in our communities and the significance of Ramadan and importance of compassion and reflection.
