Character Education 2023 Summer Program
A group of young students aged 13 to 18 from different states participated in DCA Character Education (Core Values) program at the Diyanet Center of America from June 18 to 25.
The program was designed to teach them the moral, social, and cultural values of their community and enhance their academic and physical abilities. The program provided seminars, work sessions, and classes for the attendees to learn Qur’an, history, literature, reading, writing, and conversation in Turkish. They also engaged in various physical activities. The students enjoyed the program and made new friends with each other. At the end of the program, the students said they learned a lot from the program and felt more confident and motivated. The DCA plans to continue the Character Education program next year.
