The blessed Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr) was observed with deep spirituality and devotion at the Diyanet Center of America.
Hundreds of community members gathered in the mosque, filling the night with Qur’an recitation, dhikr, prayers, and heartfelt supplications. Hands were raised to the heavens, seeking Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, and blessings on this sacred night of Ramadan.
The program was led by distinguished imams from some of the most historic mosques of the Muslim world, including Ayasofya Grand Mosque, the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet), and Fenerbahçe Mosque. Their beautiful recitations of the Qur’an deeply moved the congregation.
The program concluded with a speech and duaʾ by the Chair of the Advisory Board, Dr. Fatih Kanca, reminding the community of the importance of Laylat al-Qadr and sincere worship.
At the end of the night, a cherished tradition of musâfahah was revived, as community members greeted one another, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.
We pray that Allah SWT accepts our prayers, fasting, and supplications, and allows us to witness many more blessed nights together.
