Hifz Graduation Ceremony at the Diyanet Center of America Celebrates a New Generation of Qur’an Memorizers
Lanham, Maryland — The Diyanet Center of America (DCA) hosted a meaningful Hifz graduation and Ijazah ceremony for Hafiz Ismail, who has successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an.
The ceremony brought together his family, teachers, fellow students, and members of the DCA community to celebrate this important milestone. During the program, Dr. Fatih Kanca, Chairman of the Diyanet Center of America, presented Hafiz Ismail with his Hifz graduation certificate and offered words of congratulations and encouragement.
“Memorizing the Qur’an is not only a great achievement but also a profound responsibility. Becoming a Hafiz marks the beginning of a lifelong relationship with the Qur’an and carries with it the responsibility to preserve its teachings, embody its values, and share its message with others.”
Dr. Kanca congratulated Ismail and his family, emphasizing that their achievement will be of lasting benefit both in this life and in the Hereafter. He also expressed his appreciation to the teachers and everyone who contributed to Ismail’s journey.
Preserving a Centuries-Old Tradition in America
