Your support bridges the critical gap between Shahada and a flourishing, lifelong faith identity.
Every year, hundreds of men and women take their shahada and begin their journey into Islam. They come with open hearts, sincere intentions, and a deep desire to learn. But the path from shahada to a grounded, confident Muslim identity is not always easy.
It requires structural guidance, sound traditional knowledge, and a community that proactively invests in their individual spiritual growth. At the Diyanet Center of America, our Muhtadeen Department exists explicitly to walk that path alongside them.
We teach the core foundations of faith, prayer, and authentic Islamic character. We provide structural mentorship, safe community dynamics, and an open space where new Muslims can confidently ask deep questions, grow in conviction, and feel entirely at home in the deen.
We are utterly committed to ensuring that the key individuals who serve and teach our new Muslim community are equipped with the highest level of comprehensive scholarship possible. Investing directly in our educators means investing directly in every new Muslim they will ever teach or mentor.
The need is real. The opportunity is precisely right now. New Muslims inherently deserve instructors and mentors who have sat with scholars, who have deep mastery over the language of the Quran, and who bring that foundational academic depth directly back to the community.
Advanced Arabic language immersion specialized programs for DCA's new Muslim educators.
Enrollment in verified classical Islamic studies programs firmly rooted in orthodox Sunni scholarship.
Travel and program funding for intensive learning opportunities that bring top-tier Islamic education directly into our community's infrastructure.
Tailored academic resources, curriculum mapping, and materials designed exclusively for new Muslim classes at DCA.
Every dollar you contribute functions as a true Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity). It does not stop with a single class or a solitary student. It continuously ripples outward through every individual our educators serve, every new Muslim finding clarity in their deen, and every family unit strengthened.
Join us in building something lasting for the next generation of American Muslims.
