Cooking Club & Meet The Author Series Guests: Laila El-Haddad – Magie Schmitt


Social Activism combined with a culinary experience: authors of The Gaza Kitchen, share their story and motivation for starting their project. Laila and Maggie journeyed to Gaza, interviewing families: documenting the recipes itself while weaving in the economic and political situation of Gaza.
