Golden Minarets Award Ceremony

2017 Golden Minaret Awards were presented to the winners  in a ceremony held at Diyanet Center of America on January 21, 2017. More than 300 people attended the ceremony. Many successful names in various fields were awarded.  Nelson Mandela International Humanitarian award was given to Serdar KILIC, Turkish Ambassador at Washington DC, for Turkey’s global humanitarian aid efforts and especially for the Syrian refugees. Dr. Yasar COLAK, President  of Diyanet Center of America, took the stage to accept the award on his behalf.

The Posthumous Service Award was presented to another Turkish, Ahmad ERTEGUN, musician and the founder of famous Atlantic Record. It was also accepted by Dr. Yasar COLAK on his behalf.
