Turkish Republic Day Celebrations
It was a great event! We served Turkish food along with Ayran (traditional yogurt drink) and Ashura (Noah’s pudding). After finishing lunch there was a seminar for adults and tile painting and other activities for the kids. Our Children’s Toy and Book Drive was a success. Our new toys will soon be found in the kid’s room under our mosque.
Dun, Cumhuriyet Bayrami kutlamalarimiz cok guzel gecti! Turk yemeklerinin yaninda Ayran ve Asure’yi de tanitip misafirlerimize ikram ettik. Yemekten sonra buyukler icin Seminer, kucukler icin de seramik boyama ve cesitli aktiviteler vardi… Ayrica cocuk odamiz icin oyuncak ve kitap yardimi icin hazirlanmis standimiz da buyuk ilgi gordu. Insallah cok yakinda cocuk odamiz oyuncak ve kitaplarla dolacak…
